Samarpan Institute of Nursing and Paramedical Sciences Lucknow has been selected as one of the few mentor institutes by the UPSMF and Medical education department, Uttar Pradesh. The mentor certificate was given by the Honourable CM Yogi Aditya Nath Ji.
Our institute will now guide other mentee institutes to achieve benchmarks set by the Government and provide quality education to their students.
SINPS was awarded the Mentor status under a thorough process of quality checks by Quality Control of India (QCI) under Mission Niramaya. Under this, a rating system of nursing and paramedical colleges in Uttar Pradesh was launched in October 2022 by the state government with the goal of elevating the quality of pre-service education programs in nursing and paramedical education.
The QCI deployed 70 technical and 58 non-technical assessors to evaluate the teaching-learning processes, learning outcomes, technical documentation, general documentation, and infrastructure of 383 nursing colleges and 294 paramedical colleges in Uttar Pradesh. The ratings were released on July 12, 2023, by the Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh, Yogi Adityanath.
The ratings will help students, parents, and employers make informed decisions about which nursing and paramedical colleges to choose. They will also help institutions identify areas for improvement and take steps to enhance their quality. Mission Niramaya is a significant step forward in the government's efforts to improve the quality of healthcare education in Uttar Pradesh. It is expected to have a positive impact on the quality of healthcare services in the state.
