World pneumonia day organized by the medical surgical nursing department on 12/11/2025. The theme for World Pneumonia Day 2025 is “Child Survival” — focusing on protecting, preventing, and treating pneumonia to ensure every child survives and thrives.

This theme highlights the urgent need to:

• Raise awareness about pneumonia as a leading infectious killer of children under five.

  
  

• Promote prevention through immunization, proper nutrition, and clean air.

  
  

• Strengthen healthcare systems to ensure timely diagnosis and access to treatment for all children.

  
  

• Encourage community participation to protect children’s health and save lives.
