World Stroke Day organized by the medical surgical nursing department on 29/10/2025 theme is "Every Minute Counts". This theme emphasizes the importance of timely action in preventing and treating strokes.

- Understanding Stroke: Define stroke, its causes, symptoms, and risk factors.

- The Golden Hour: Explain the importance of timely medical intervention within 4.5 hours of stroke onset.

- FAST Protocol: Highlight the simple yet life-saving FAST test:

- F - Face: Is one side drooping?

- A - Arm: Is one arm weak or numb?

- S - Speech: Is speech slurred or strange?

- T - Time: Time to call emergency services immediately.

- Prevention and Management: Discuss lifestyle changes, risk factor management, and treatment options.
